Outgrow A First Thesis
Writing With Insight and Honesty:
- Have the courage to postpone closure, (don't be in a hurry to finish).
- Be willing to revise early, using free writing to deepen thinking, (outgrow early claims).
- Risk revising the whole text!
- Explicitly name the message you hope the story tells.
- Give your words the truth test. ( Does your essay say what you really mean?) Look at your thesis to guide you.
